My love for authentic West African food began in Togo, surrounded by the colors, aromas, and warmth of traditional markets. Growing up, food was more than a meal. It was a connection to family, culture, and cherished traditions.
After moving away from home, finding the ingredients needed to prepare familiar dishes became difficult. I often had to travel long distances and visit several stores just to find essential staples, traditional spices, and quality African groceries. That experience inspired Carole’s African Market.
I created this business to make authentic West African foods more accessible and convenient. Our selection includes carefully chosen pantry staples, spices, specialty products, and traditional ingredients that help families prepare the foods they love.
